sir edmund the extremely floofy, and an innocent bystander, nels. nels looks quite large next to edmund due to the foreshortened view of ol' swagbelly. trust me, there's no comparison--nels weighs 9.8 lbs, ed comes in at 23! >;-) nitro)

tummy tuesday - getzger

this is miss ginger's "watch cat", getzger. he is a blue abbysinian kitty, an' he keeps himself busy alla time. he is just flat nosey an' into efurrything. he patrols the house constantly, just like skeezy, 'cause he's their safety officer. it just drives his mama nutz, but they are safe from intrusions of all kinds, except for the ones getzger causes! ;-)

we told nitro he was gonna take center stage on mancat monday, but DIN'T tell him we were gonna post the candid of him slickerin' himself up for the photo shoot. WOW! is he M-A-D!!! *giggle* xing & ed *smirk*

well, heck! we had a fine post lined up, and DPB saved the picture to the same server that the vanished picture of mom's nose-holes is on. so you can't see THIS one, either. so we started to make a whole new post, an' DPB won't let us upload anyfing. we are peevish. we'll try later.

wacky picture wednesday

this was k.c., the kitty who lived at the place where mom hunts during the day. she lived there for two whole years. she liked to sleep in drawers in funny positions. the kitty got out one evening when a bean came in late, an' was gone two whole days. the people at the next door hunting place found her in one of their trucks! that episode caused so much heartache for mom an' the ofur lady there who loved k.c. (miss nanet), that they:

1. stuck lots pins in a doll of the late-arriving bean;
2. spit on the late-arriving bean's shadow; an'
   
3. decided that though mom would miss k.c. turrible bad, miss nanet should take her to live full time at her house, where k.c. went on weekends so she wouldn't be lonely. (we already had four kitties here, an' it only brought nanet's herd up to three;-)

that was three years ago, an' people comin' in still ask where the kitty is--they remember her as being so furriendly an' nice. an' she was. mom still misses her.

ed's been on the DKM snuggle we winned for guessing san antonio in a "where in the world is DKM" contest a while back. it had acshul stalks of catnip rolled up in it, an' you know ed an' nip!
he hasn't moved off it for almost a week except to eat, drink, or go pee. when his sweetie, midnight teleported ofurr to visit, they dragged it into the laundry room an' put it onna fresh, hot laundry inna basket to cuddle in. boy, he knows howta treat his woman-cat right!

an' mom hadda good time last evening wif her friend, miss ginger. *smirkety-smirk-smirk!* in this picture, they'd already made away wif the mead, an' were tryin' to soak it up wif pizza!
