mom went wif miss ginger to see this flower ofur the weekend--she said it stinks worse than our litterbox right after ed uses it!! the flower's name is amorphophallus titanum, which she translated as "great big deformed thingy", an' is more'n four feets tall. we are glad mom has a "black thumb" so that she will nefur bring one of these home. we can hardly stand ed!

big stinky!

Is that the plant that takes several years before it produces a flower and then dies? Hardly seems worth the effort!

Oh, is that the "corpse flower"? Mom says the You Double-You had 1 bloom in their green house a couple of years ago, and another a year later. They bloom once every 100 years or so!
I'm glad not to have one in our house, either.

We think we have seen a flower like that on the TV before - we have heard they are extremely stinky! WE don't get why anyone would want to visit a stinky think like that!
Too bad we have plenty of our own stinky stuff here. That looks like a plant Mom might not kill.
