the sky is falling!

the sky is fallin', we tells ya!!! fat ed crawled up on mom's lap an' collapsed onto xing's backside an' she nefur even bothered to look up to see who or what was there. so ed just napped away for about half an hour, an' right after this photo, so did mom. she din't sleep easy, though; she kept haffin' dreams about nuclear war erupting on her lap.

you kin see that ed's de-fluffifying his hinderquarters. he's been at it fur some time, but we dunno why; mom's started giffen him some stinky goodness along wif his crunchies, an' a little goopy stuff called linatone to help make coats shiny an' thick. we'll see.

Wow! I think that you two are looking awful cute. Big Ed may be defloofing because of stress too-sometimes cats do that...

We think you guys look cute and comfy there! We have a kitty who de-floofs too - we think it is a stress thing, but we can't figure out what the stress is (we think it maybe was stress then just became a habit at this point). Hopefully Ed will stop soon if you can figure out what his stress is (or maybe the stinky goodness will help too!)

Sometimes kitties defloof because they want to keep their people guessing. At least that's what the Woman thinks. Stinky Goodness is an awesome way to help it, *I* think...since we've been eating the Nutramax Gourmet Classics, our furs have been verrrrrry soft and shiny, and no more Buddah dandruff. Mmmmmm....stinky goodness...

Your mum is very brave. Maybe Ed had slipped Xing some knock out drops first.

Wow! Sometimes a comfy lap is a truce-maker.

Could love be in the air? Methinks that Xing is a secret saucepot and it could be.

Stress can cause da defloofing, but often it's a particular type of stress that causes it - frustration! Have there been any introoder kitties about outside that Ed could see? Has there been a bit of swapsies going on with sleeping/resting places/food bowls/human routines/litter trays?

OR!! is it the fact that Ed is STILL owed several WHOLE FRESH SALMONS as payment for his cat blanket duties?

There must be SO many of his invoices outstanding by now!

Hehe

PS: Feliway can sometimes chill us out so we stop the defloofing!
