meower monday

those witty puddies at simply siamese is having a "spring is sprung" contest--it ends today, monday!! get yer entry in NOW, as per directions inna linkie to their name. our entry's below.

spring's not sprung,
the grass ain't riz,
but we know where
the robins is!

they's in our yard
a-hippity-hoppin',
lookin' for bugs an'
werms wifout stoppin'.

outside our window
they flutter an' cheep--
an' tic us off,
'cause they're outta reach!

I luff your poem, I think it expresses the feelings in all of our hearts. It is very frustrating not being able to get at birdies when they are simply asking for it! Of course I wouldn't really hurt one, I just want one little taste!
