spring's not sprung,
the grass ain't riz,
but we know where
the robins is!
they's in our yard
a-hippity-hoppin',
lookin' for bugs an'
werms wifout stoppin'.
outside our window
they flutter an' cheep--
an' tic us off,
'cause they're outta reach!

but we know where
the robins is!

werms wifout stoppin'.
outside our window

I luff your poem, I think it expresses the feelings in all of our hearts. It is very frustrating not being able to get at birdies when they are simply asking for it! Of course I wouldn't really hurt one, I just want one little taste!
Great poem!
What a wonderful spring poem!
That is a wonderful entry!
ps: I wonder if werms taste good?
We can't wait for Spring! Good Poem!

We are glad Spring is on the way when all the little mousies come to play.
